1929 Wolverine, No.65 Sunny Andy Fun Fair in Original Box

1929 Wolverine, No.65 Sunny Andy Fun Fair in Original Box

Ingenious! A mechanical toy that does not require winding!.

All steel litho (not tinplate), the Sunny Andy Fun Fair comes complete with all 15 steel ball bearings plus its very scarce original box.

It features a colorful amusement park type ride with six, three dimensional children. The kids are connected together by a series of wired levers running underneath the base. Movement of one will move them all.

Motion occurs by the successive dropping of ball bearings from the back of the toy. Gravity and the weight of the balls causes the figures to moves back and forth, one after the other, until all 15 are used.

The bearings fill up one of two barrels, or columns, on the back of the toy. Moving the barrel right or left loads the balls into an upper "trap door" located near the lower left corner of the word "Fun" on the back drop. The balls drop into a square cup near the base. When the toy stops, moving the barrel right or left raises the balls to the start position and the motion starts all over again... automatically.

All that's needed is a gentle push to get it started. It'll run flawlessly through all 15 balls. There's no need to manually re-stuff the ball bearings into the magazine! It's self contained.

The toy comes with its full color art deco box. Directions are printed on the underside of the cover.

Size: 14" x 3½" x 6".

Price Sold: $ 395
